IT IS SUMMER AND HERE IN THE PNW WE HAVE SO MANY AMAZING THINGS TO DO! THIS MONTH WE’VE BEEN SWIMMING, CAMPING, EATING, AND ENJOYING THE WINERIES OUT HERE IN OREGON.

OBSESSING

THIS MONTH WE ARE OBSESSED WITH ZUCCHINI SO HERE ARE TWO RECIPES WE TRIED TO CELEBRATE ZUCH SEASON ☆! FIRST ARE THE STICKY OATY ZUCCHINI COOKIES, BY JUSTINE SNACKS AND SECOND FROM OUR FAVORITE CHEF JULIUS ROBERTS, HIS COURGETTE AND RICOTTA TART, WITH BASIL, LEMON AND OLIVE OIL (DROOLING).

RECOMMENDING

IN PORTLAND WE HAVE AN AWESOME LOCAL GROCERY STORE CALLED NEW SEASONS. THIS SUMMER THEY HAVE DONE HALF OFF ON A DIFFERENT ICE CREAM BRAND EACH WEEK. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE HAVE BEEN TRYING LOTS OF ICE CREAM… HERE ARE OUR TOP THREE!

THIS MONTH WE WERE SO EXCITED TO FINALLY TRY AND TREAT OURSELVES TO PORTLAND’S HOT NEW MATCHA SPOT PROJECT MATCHA, ONLY A FIVE MINUTE WALK FROM OUR STUDIO. WE HAD TO WAIT A WHILE BECAUSE LINES WERE AROUND THE BLOCK BUT WE FINALLY MADE IT.
